We need your help, to keep helping the people of Chepstow & Caldicot and all the surrounding villages! 55 years of service in volunteering: will YOU help us write the next chapter?

You’ve probably seen Chepstow & Caldicot Lions around, or maybe we’ve helped someone you know.  As a Registered Charity (CIO), we have provided stability, resources, and practical support through more than half a century of change.

Today, we are at a turning point. To keep serving our community for the next 55 years, we urgently need new members to join us. Without that new support, the club may not be able to continue. We have recently lost many of our wonderful, dedicated volunteers, who have had to step down due to health reasons or others who simply are taking a well-deserved retirement from charity work, however sadly their absence has left us with a critical shortage of hands.

Without some new friendly faces, it’s going to be incredibly hard to keep our community projects running. 

We are not just looking for volunteers. We are looking for people who care about where they live and want to help protect something valuable. By joining The Lions, you would be helping to sustain a formal, established charity with the structure, experience, and local connections needed to make a lasting impact.

If you’ve ever wanted to see positive changes in our local community, this is your chance to be a part of it.  

We are a welcoming bunch, and we really need your energy.

• No experience needed: Just a willingness to lend a hand.
• Flexible time: Whether you have one hour a month or a few hours a week, any help is massive. We embrace a family first attitude.
• Keep it local: your efforts go directly back into making our community a better, kinder place to live.
• Boost that C.V: Demonstrating vital soft skills like teamwork and communication, and showcasing your initiative and strong work ethic. Proving to potential employers that you are a motivated candidate who aligns with their values.
