Chepstow & Caldicot Lions win prestigious international marketing award

Chepstow & Caldicot Lions Club is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the Lions International Marketing Award for our innovative and community-driven #MeetTheLions campaign.

Chosen from hundreds of entries worldwide, the campaign used social media and digital storytelling to spotlight the real people behind our service mission, our volunteers. The effort resulted in a measurable increase in community awareness and club membership, demonstrating how authentic, personal stories can inspire collective action.

“Our aim was to make the Lions’ message more relatable by showing the real people behind the mission,” said Brian Waters, our club’s marketing officer.
“To be recognised on the international stage is an incredible honour, and more importantly, it means more eyes on our work, more members, and more service.”

Alongside this recognition, the club has been awarded a grant to further develop our marketing efforts and expand our community service reach.
